"AIR-PURE lite" is a light bulb with a titanium dioxide coating (TiO2) which produces a photocatalytic action that reduces airborne microorganisms into harmless CO2 and H2O without generating ozone. One "AIR-PURE lite" light bulb can provide protection to several areas within your indoor environment, as opposed to filters that clean only their immediate area. "AIR-PURE lite" uses light which reacts with the titanium dioxide-based chemical catalyst coating as air passes through. The result is the creation of oxidation, which in turn attacks and destroys microbes by disintegrating their DNA through this oxidation process . The reaction also kills dust mites and mold.
